Responsibilities

Be an expert in all areas of shortage control at store level. Maintain consistent standards across stores assigned to audit. Ensure that repeat problem areas are surfaced to leadership.
Provide Asset Protection training to store associates as needed when deficient areas are found. Communicate audit results and training conducted to MOD and to DAPM as needed.
When possible internal theft is identified, communicate to DAPM immediately and maintain the confidentiality of the investigation until resolved.
Train associates to address possible shoplifting with great customer service and to enter incident reports into case reporting system as identified.

Required

High school diploma or equivalent

Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.
Travel by car 60% - 90% required, occasional over-night trips.
Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment.
Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at a desk or computer terminal.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephones, and other office equipment in the course of a normal workday.
Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in the completion of job duties.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Preferred

LP Foundation LPQ or LPC certification
2 years Asset Protection or auditing experience
Familiarity with CCTV system operation
Experience with case report writing
