Responsibilities

Build a new end-to-end technology solution that serves educational products for children and families.

Establish our e-commerce technology foundation with a small team of founders.

Combine digital experiences for families with analog activities for children.

Deliver end-to-end technology solutions that solve human problems.

Work resourcefully across infrastructure and Saas applications to build e-commerce solutions.

Build and operate multiple consumer-facing e-commerce systems in collaboration with product managers, designers, engineers and business stakeholders.

Customize an e-commerce platform and build a custom storefront from scratch with a headless e-commerce platform.

Integrate with a customer data platform and a customer identity and access management platform.

Develop bespoke backend APIs and operate the end-to-end solution at scale.

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Eight or more years of experience working in software development or solution architecture, with a focus on web front-ends and back-end systems integration

Three or more years of developing APIs and integrating with third-party SaaS APIs, either REST or GraphQL

Experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript and NodeJS

Familiarity with AWS and market leading e-commerce platforms like Shopify or BigCommerce

Working knowledge of data modeling with relational and non-relational databases

Experience with Agile software development lifecycle using Scrum or Kanban

Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and on-call support of production systems

Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently
