Responsibilities
Lead the business development process from initial inquiry to staffing, budgeting, and contracting.
Work closely with the Director of Practice, the Communications and Marketing Manager, and other key staff.
Ensure practices are seamless and external communications are clear and compelling.
Demonstrate to potential new clients that they are valued.
Handle multiple lanes of work while being responsive to prospective clients.
Track details and deadlines, and maintain a data-oriented approach.

Required
Experience in business development, particularly in a nonprofit setting.
Strong understanding of racial equity and social justice.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong attention to detail and data-oriented mindset.
Experience in staffing, budgeting, and contracting processes.
Preferred
Experience working with individuals, organizations, and networks to build capacity for collaboration.
Familiarity with marketing and communications strategies.
Experience in generating new work and client relationships.
