Responsibilities
Create and edit articles for some of the world’s top WordPress brands.
Write on topics centered around how to use plugins or extensions to improve websites, marketing, or operations.
Provide technical instructions for implementing advanced dev tasks.
Discuss hosting best practices and comparisons.
Write about how to grow a WooCommerce store (marketing).
Cover marketing best practices using email, SMS, SEO, and paid ad strategies.

Required
Real-world development, agency, or marketing experience.
Ability to present several long-form writing samples (published or purposefully written to demonstrate your potential) related to WordPress, hosting, agencies, or marketing.
Ability to adapt to detailed editorial guidelines that may change from assignment to assignment.
Up-to-date on the latest in WordPress and able to take initiative to go above and beyond (experimenting with the tools you write about, etc.).
Ability to write about actionable ideas from experience — don’t just tell people that they should do something… tell them what the something is, specifically, and the 'how.'
Detail-oriented in their editing process.
Ability to accept constructive criticism with a positive attitude and learn from feedback to improve future articles.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Willingness to learn our writing guidelines and adapt their writing style and editing process to fit.
Preferred
Belief in the idea of open-source and being a contributing member of the WordPress community.
