Responsibilities
Design and implement Azure Data Architecture solutions with a focus on optimizing data pipelines, storage, and processing within the Databricks ecosystem.
Lead the development and management of Delta Lake solutions to enable efficient data storage, updates, and real-time analytics.
Oversee Databricks cost management, cluster management, and performance optimization to ensure efficient resource allocation and cost savings.
Set up and manage Databricks Unity Catalog, providing a centralized governance framework for data access and cataloging.
Conduct Databricks installation, configuration, and ongoing management to support a scalable and secure data environment.
Develop CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, enabling automated testing, deployment, and monitoring of data workflows.
Establish and enforce Databricks security frameworks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and secure data handling practices.
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable and performant data solutions that align with business requirements.
Provide guidance and best practices on Python/Scala for data processing within Databricks, optimizing for performance and scalability.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to Databricks environments, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime.

Required
Minimum of 5 years of Azure Data Architecture experience.
Proven expertise with Databricks, Python/Scala, Delta Lakes, and Azure DevOps.
Strong knowledge of Databricks cost, cluster management, and security frameworks.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
