Responsibilities
Intermediate understanding of Software Release Management
Intermediate understanding of working in a multi-agency space in which Departments have differing priorities, processes and methods
Intermediate: Good understanding over Defense Health basics as well as through understanding of the SELC/SDLC process
Advanced: Strong organizational, collaborative and teaming skills with an internal mechanic for retaining information
Advanced: Desire to learn and master new processes, subject matter, technology development frameworks, and terminology
Advanced: Strong communicator (written and verbal) and self-motivator
Advanced: Works well with supporting a team as well as on individual assignments

Required
Minimum 3 years of release management, strategy and/or communications experience, preferably working with Federal Government agencies (DoD preferred)
Minimum 3 years of people management experience
Microsoft PowerPoint is essential, including creating cohesive narratives using slides
Overall understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
Proficient computer skills: Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Teams, Slack, SharePoint
U.S. citizenship required

Professional experience and or training/certification in release management, program management, technical deployment
Ability to manage multiple & fragmented responsibilities at once.
Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams and foster partnerships with program colleagues and government leaders.
Mastery of Microsoft PowerPoint is essential, including creating cohesive narratives using slides.
Able to hold sub-managers, vendors, and other project members accountable for success.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; capable of tailoring messages in a clear, concise, unambiguous, engaging, and convincing manner.
Experience leading health technology transformations, systems engineering, architecture and design, cybersecurity, and testing.
Knowledge of government policies and procedures related to technology development and deployment
Preferred
Educational background in strategy, business management or communications preferred.
Advanced degree (i.e., MBA) a plus
Prior military service preferred but not required
Secret clearance preferred but not required
