Responsibilities

Oversee all phases of transit facility projects, managing multi-disciplinary teams to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.

Act as the primary contact for clients as project manager or architectural lead for transit facility projects, maintaining relationships and addressing feedback.

Identify and support facilities opportunities pursuits in Western Canada, including Maintenance and Storage Facilities, Zero Emission Bus facilities, and transit stations.

Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and implement best practices in architectural design

Support Zero Emission Bus pursuits.

Identify skill gaps in existing team with specific attention to BIM capabilities

Building a team and mentoring staff.

Required

4-year degree in Engineering (or related field) or equivalent experience

20+ years of related work experience, including significant experience in delivering transit/transportation facilities

Demonstrated project management skills and ability to analyze and develop innovative solutions.

Experience with managing and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on complex transit projects from prelim/feasibility through to detailed design and construction.

Experienced with Design-Build and alternative project delivery models.

Proven leadership and business development capabilities with experience responding to proposals.

Proficiency in CAD modeling tools (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Microstation)
