Responsibilities

Develop and uphold accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to protect company assets and ensure compliance with regulations.

Lead and supervise a team of four accounting professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and opportunities for professional growth.

Prepare and present accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP, including variance analysis, to the CFO.

Oversee cash flow management, working capital, and treasury operations, ensuring efficacy in cash flow forecasting, debt management, and resource allocation.

Cultivate relationships with external entities, including auditors, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies.

Keep abreast of industry trends, accounting standards, and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and optimize financial practices.

Continually identify opportunities for process enhancements, automation, and improved efficiency within the accounting domain.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a relevant field

Demonstrated experience in accounting roles, ideally with experience in public accounting

Strong comprehension of accounting principles and internal controls

Proficient in financial management systems and software, including ERP systems and advanced MS Excel capabilities

Exceptional people management skills, with a capacity to motivate and inspire a team

Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail

Proven ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
