Responsibilities

Identify, develop, and secure new corporate partnerships, as well as expand existing relationships to generate increased sponsorship and advertising revenue, especially for NICA’s annual conference.
Implement and manage strategies to grow corporate partnerships aligned with NICA’s strategic plan. Assess market trends and adjust strategies as needed to enhance program outcomes.
Attend industry events and network extensively to develop high-value partnerships, focusing on pharmaceutical companies and other key industry stakeholders.
Regularly engage with partners to ensure alignment with their needs and expectations, seeking opportunities for upgrades and deeper engagement.
Work with the Membership, Marketing & Communications, and Events teams to refine partner benefits, curate promotional collateral, and coordinate partner involvement in educational and conference-related initiatives.
Track KPIs, partner engagement, revenue growth, and provide regular updates on progress to the leadership team. Support the CEO in reviewing and drafting contracts related to partnerships.
Maintain an organized pipeline of prospective partners, ensuring timely follow-up and renewal notifications. Oversee partner requests for educational project sponsorships and engagement opportunities.
Represent NICA at professional and industry events to promote the organization and its offerings, secure new partnerships, and strengthen its industry presence.
Focus on retaining existing corporate partnerships and identifying opportunities for upgrades to higher partnership tiers.
Establish and implement a formal feedback and renewal process for corporate partners in collaboration with the CEO, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with partner expectations.
Develop and execute strategies to increase awareness of the organization and its value proposition among potential partners and the broader industry.

Required

5-7 years of proven experience in business development, relationship management, or a growth-focused role.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
Exceptional relationship management and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage C-suite executives.
Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and sales capabilities.
Experience with pipeline management and project tracking.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
High attention to detail and effective problem-solving.
Willing or able to travel at least once per quarter for meetings, conferences, and networking events.

Preferred

Familiarity with the healthcare sector, particularly the infusion market.
Experience in nonprofit development and pharmaceutical partnerships.
