Responsibilities

Work with Event Coordinators, Development Directors to support event planning.
Assistance with pre-event planning and projects related to events within the market.
Working alongside Volunteers to support a committees related to core campaigns.
Donor stewardship
Support Serve Day actions planned.
Email and call event related external 3rd party vendors.
Work within event support systems such as Luminate and Event.Gives.
Develop collateral for events including save the dates, invitations, and programs.
Help with volunteer recruitment and management
Social Media planning for core events as well as serve events during centennial celebrations.
Advocacy and Volunteer recruit on campus
Health Fair support when applicable

Required

Effective oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
Ability to work professionally in corporate and non-profit environments.
Comfortable making cold calls to donors and potential supporters.
Ability to use Microsoft Office programs.
Strong leadership experience.
Demonstrated skills in effective one-on-one and group communications and comfort with working with all levels of community leaders, volunteers, and staff.
Ability to deal professionally in a corporate or non-profit environment and assume responsibility for guiding projects and programs from inception through completion.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment managing multiple priorities involving multiple entities.
Intermediate to excellent proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Ability/willingness to travel locally; have a means of reliable transportation.
Minimum availability of 20 hrs./wk., M-F between the hours of 8:30 am-5 pm.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future. For any roles working remotely, the work must also be performed inside the United States, not in a foreign country.
