Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with the Privacy and Cyber Security including NIST, FISMA, FIPPS, Privacy Act of 1974, E-Government Act of 2002, OMB Circulars A-130, A-108 and IRS privacy guidelines
Develop, update, and guide the accurate creation and publication of Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs).
Track and ensure the current status of privacy compliance activities, including posting of SORNs, PIAs, and privacy plans in Xacta.
Attend privacy-related meetings, providing updates, support, and responses to privacy reviews and assignments.
Facilitate privacy training programs, update tracking systems with compliance activities, and provide regular updates and reports.
Assess and implement privacy controls with system owners to mitigate risks as part of the IRS risk management framework.
Develop, update, and ensure accurate system privacy plans with guidance to system owners.
Develop, update, and guide the accurate creation and publication of System of Records Notices (SORNs).
Applies privacy-related subject matter experience to user systems and dedicated special purpose systems requiring privacy controls, features, and procedures
Analyzes general privacy-related problems and provides basic recommendations and support in solving these problems
Provide expert advice on privacy regulations and best practices related to AI, including data protection, data privacy, and ethical considerations.
Coordinate with Lead Privacy Business Analyst to conduct privacy impact assessment program to account for AI initiative risk assessments with a goal of ensuring that privacy risks are identified and mitigated
Develop and deliver training programs on AI privacy compliance for employees and stakeholders to accomplish both defensibility and compliance with the AI Governance program.
Monitor and assess the impact of new and emerging privacy regulations on AI projects and provide guidance on compliance requirements.
Act as a subject matter expert on AI privacy compliance and provide guidance to leadership and other stakeholders.

Required
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Law, or other related program.
At least 6 years’ experience working in a privacy compliance role
Strong knowledge of the federal privacy requirements (e.g., Privacy Act, FISMA, OMB A-130).
Willing to undergo federal Background check process requiring U.S. Citizenship.
Preferred
Relevant certifications such as CIPP/US, CIPP/E, or CIPP/AI Governance are highly desirable.
