Responsibilities
Collaborates with business stakeholders on the creation and maintenance of data assets and associated metadata, identifies and resolves data governance issues, aligns data ownership and accountability, and measures/monitors adherence to data governance standards.
Engages with IT and business unit staff to investigate, understand and document data/metadata needs, insights, issues and opportunities.
Develop recommendations and drive improvements to data standards, processes, definitions or tools.
Uses professional concepts; applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.
Ability to multitask and respond quickly to changing priorities, business needs and technology.
Working knowledge of business requirements definition, data definitions, data derivations rules, and data quality principles.
Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
Has internal and some external contacts.
Performs metadata and data quality audits, monitors adherence to data governance policy and standards as directed.

Required
1 year of professional (or 2 years of academic) experience working with data (i.e. data analysis)
Bachelor’s degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience
Ability to multitask and respond quickly to changing priorities, business needs and technology
Working knowledge of business requirements definition, data definitions, data derivations rules, and data quality principles
