Junior Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst

Responsibilities
Manage and prioritize intelligence collection to support A-ISAC’s Cyber Threat Intelligence program.
Collect, aggregate, and analyze intelligence relevant to the aviation industry, preparing reports and briefings for A-ISAC staff and members.
Develop and contribute to analytic content for threat calls, events, and organizational strategies.
Facilitate the dissemination of prioritized intelligence requirements to relevant stakeholders in collaboration with the Intelligence Operations Team.
Conduct threat analysis focusing on areas such as Nation-State Threat Actors, Cyber Crime, Hacktivism, Fraud, Malware, and Social Engineering mapped to the Mitre ATT&CK® framework.
Investigate, document, and report on emerging security trends and threat activities impacting the aviation industry.
Participate in regular virtual meetings, maintaining effective communication with other Cyber Intelligence Analysts located in various regions.
Other duties and projects as assigned.

Required
1-2 years of experience in two or more of the following areas: intelligence collection, threat hunting, or assessment of threat actor motivations and targets.
Familiarity with key areas of cyber threats, such as Nation-State Actors, Cyber Crime, Hacktivism, or Malware.
Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated experience in presenting intelligence findings.
Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a virtual environment.
Availability to travel domestically and internationally 4-6 times per year for approximately one week at a time. The estimated travel time in this role is 10%. Must possess valid passport for international travel.
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Intelligence, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, or a related field (additional experience may be substituted for education).
1-2 years of experience as a cyber intelligence analyst.
Familiarity or demonstrated experience in the application of the Mitre ATT&CK® framework.
Basic understanding of the aviation industry.
