Responsibilities
Provide expert-level analysis and architectural guidance for payment and financial systems modernization
Collaborate with business analysts and leaders to understand functional and non-functional requirements
Evaluate SaaS solutions and RFP responses to ensure fit for purpose and configurability
Architect finance and payment system solutions, including software component implementation and data transformation
Support the agency’s mission through timely issuance of benefits and system availability

Required
Minimum of 7 years of information systems experience in creating architecture solutions for complex systems
At least 2 years of experience in a Cloud environment integrating new solutions with legacy interfaces
An Associate's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or a two-year accredited vocational training program
Experience in complex integration and architecture solutions across multiple systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical resources
Preferred
Experience implementing financial and payment systems in a Cloud environment
Strong project management skills with experience managing projects throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Experience with Cloud-native development and various cloud computing platforms
Ability to promote a culturally competent and diverse work environment
Outstanding customer service skills for internal and external customers
