Responsibilities
Review and edit content for short form videos, imagery, style, and tone to ensure it aligns with the brand voice and messaging. Edit weekly short form content for publication.
Consistent video editing of 10-15 short form videos per week presented for posting on all platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, Pinterest & YouTube Shorts
Ensure all content is high-quality, error-free, and consistent.
Optimize content for each social media platform, using standard practices for format, length, and engagement.
Collaborate with other editors, team members and the CEO to ensure consistency and high quality across all content. Provide feedback as needed.
Work quickly to turn around edits for time-sensitive content and maintain speed and quality while meeting deadlines.

Required
5 years working as a Video Editor
3 years of experience editing for social media short form videos, including but not limited to Facebook and Instagram Reels, TikTok Shorts, Pinterest and YouTube Shorts.
Strong portfolio of social media short form video content editing.
Strong understanding of brand voice and mission.
Proficiency in video editing software.
Good understanding of color grading, sound design and transitions.
High attention to detail.
Ability to edit high-quality short form videos with high retention.
Exceptional knowledge of short form video hooks and creating content that hooks the viewer within the first 3 seconds.
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
Constantly driven to stay on top of social media editing trends.
Organized, good time-management, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment.
Up-to-date PC with Windows or Mac computer with MacOS operating system, anti-virus protection, and reliable high-speed internet connection.
Stable Wi-Fi connection, suitable computer, and a quiet workspace conducive to remote work.
Employees are expected to ensure their work environment is conducive to productivity, free from major distractions and without any conflicting responsibilities during scheduled shifts.
Tech-savvy approach to everyday tasks and communication is imperative.
Must be comfortable and experienced using Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, etc.) and able to learn and navigate new computer software.
Preferred
Remote work experience preferred.
