Responsibilities

Understanding of basic mechanical/construction principles
Able to work as in individual as well as in a team environment
Extensive Travel required within New England but not limited to, (Maintain a safe driving behavior, obey all traffic laws)
Able to work Flexible Hours, including but not limited to early morning starts, weekend work, overnight stays near jobsite.
Ability to read product cut sheets and wiring diagram
Complete admin tasks, online training etc. as required to meet deadlines
Ability to work from ladders, lifts, scaffoldings
Use and understand the importance of personal protection gear including hearing and eye protection, fall protection, safety shoes, reflective vests and other safety items.
OSHA 10 minimum training
Assist and understand how to safely rig, move and install heavy construction materials up to and in excess of 10,000 lbs
Weld or learn to weld using mig flux core, argon gas or stick weld process
Learn to use and become certified to use a forklift and other lift equipment
Load and unload flatbed and van trucks
Install new or modified bank equipment at client facility to ensure full functionality according to specifications

Required
Currently possess or obtain forklift certification card
DOT (Department of Transportation Card), required to operate box truck, (CDL not required)
All employees must be certified by Convergint by attending Company training session and passing written and practical skill test as required
Knowledge and experience in rigging, lifting and setting equipment on construction materials
Use of equipment necessary to safely lift and transport heavy construction materials up to and in excess of 10,000 lbs

High school diploma required
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Motivated, self-starter
Able to follow direction/instructions
Valid state driver’s license in good standing
