Responsibilities
Support and be aware of emerging policy, innovations, and opportunities for transportation electrification.
Making phone calls to relevant constituency groups to support our policy objectives.
Attend external events as a representative of the EC and its state policy team, raising awareness of the EC’s work and building relationships with relevant parties.
Develop, implement, and support a range of in-person events, including press conferences, public panels, lobby days, and coalition meetings.
Increase the EC’s online presence and build support for policy and programs via social media platforms and email communication.
Provide policy support and progress reports to the state policy team, in addition to leadership, plus the EC’s development and communications departments as required.

Required
Legally able to work in the United States as required by the Immigration Reform and Control Act (ICRA).
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
Demonstrated the ability to collaborate with colleagues and outside organizations and be able to multitask without sacrificing the quality of work.
An awesome ability to work at a fast pace under pressure to meet deadlines.
Great research skills.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Experience with administrative assistance, including coordination and organization of meetings.
Experience with tracking program progress and contacts with stakeholders.
Ability to adapt and learn other diverse roles.
Preferred
Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to learn quickly.
Some college or bachelor’s degree (undergrad and graduate students are welcome to apply).
Demonstrated editing and proofreading abilities.
A working understanding of and proficiency with Microsoft programs, especially Excel.
Internet savviness—experience with software including WordPress or Canva.
A flexible schedule.
