Responsibilities
Process payroll for employees, including calculating wages, deductions, and taxes.
Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to gather and validate payroll information, such as new hires, terminations, promotions, and salary changes.
Monitor and resolve payroll discrepancies, investigating and resolving issues promptly and accurately.
Generate payroll reports, including tax filings, benefits deductions, and other required reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Respond to employee inquiries and concerns related to payroll, providing exceptional customer service and support.
Maintain confidentiality and data security standards for all payroll-related information.
Prepare and submit payroll-related reports, including tax filings and benefits reconciliations.
Support 401(k) reporting and audit.
Stay updated on changes to payroll laws and regulations.
Support HR with payroll and other related tasks as needed.

Required
A minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar role.
Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now, Microsoft Office, and Excel.
Strong understanding of payroll principles, tax regulations, and compliance standards.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred
Certification such as Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) is a plus.
Experience in multi-state payroll processing.
Detail Oriented.
