Responsibilities
Develop educational materials and resources for food pantries and farmers, including converting an existing toolkit into a website, and updating the Resourceful Grower Wix site.
Help gather and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of farmer/grower resources and identify areas for improvement.
Support landownership workshops and trainings for rural, underserved landowners
Support food hub connectivity through resource sharing
Develop database of university partnership opportunities for food-based work (i.e. research projects, student capstone projects, etc. and examples from RC network)
Other work as assigned

Required
Currently enrolled in or recent graduate from an accredited college or university.
Strong interest in community development and local food access
Dependability, initiative, and follow-through
Strong organizational, task management, and time management skills
Research skills
Software: Microsoft Office, OneDrive
Willingness to work cooperatively with a broad range of people
Ability to travel
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking ability
Ability to work at a desk for prolonged periods of time
Preferred
Understanding of and experience with issues affecting limited-resource and rural communities and communities of color a plus
Knowledge about local food systems, farming, and/or forestry a plus
Experience with building basic websites (Wix)
Experience with using Airtable a plus
Knowledge or experience with non-profits a plus
