Responsibilities

Will vary depending on the rotation/location. Every six months, you will rotate to a new club and new department.

You will often act as first contact with our member families and their guests. You will be expected to be a problem-solver, magic-maker and dream-weaver on a daily basis.

Shadowing our operational managers and assisting as needed in staff scheduling, purchasing, training, and supervising our line-level team.

Meeting the daily needs of our members, from supporting scheduled activities to fulfilling bespoke concierge requests.

Required

A forthcoming or recent graduate holding a Bachelor of Arts degree in Hospitality Management from a Discovery Land Co partner university.

Minimum of six months previous experience in guest services or hospitality.

Motivated to lead and inspire others by your example.

Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands.

Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members.

Ability to work in a team environment.

Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and a shift greater than eight (8) hours in length.

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than eight (8) hours, and lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than fifty (50) pounds.

Flexibility and ability to pivot to new projects and desire to work in fast-paced environment.
