Responsibilities

Support of sponsored project proposal development including budget preparation

Facilitation of internal approvals for proposal submissions

Contributing regular support through entry and analysis of data within various sponsor and university proposal-related systems

Remaining current and knowledgeable on sponsored project policy and related university rules and regulations

Providing exceptional customer service through timely response and follow-up related to these duties

Completing all responsibilities with an advanced level of understanding for all grant pre-award processes

Required

Master’s degree and four (4) year of experience OR equivalent

High School diploma or GED and ten (10) years of experience

Associate’s degree and eight (8) years of experience

Bachelor’s degree and six (6) years of experience

Doctorate degree and one (1) year of experience

Related experience includes: Grant proposal, Grant management, Grant administration, Finance, Accounting, Budgeting, Program coordination, and/or Administrative/Administration

Preferred

Working knowledge of federal grant and academic institution sponsored research regulations

Certified Research Administrator (CRA) preferred
