Responsibilities
Support the Human Resources department with management of various benefit programs across multiple locations within the company.
Handle administrative tasks for onboarding, personnel files and offboarding.
Ensures the accuracy of all benefits enrollments in the HRIS to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information.
Assists with new-hire orientations.
Assists employees regarding benefits claim issues and plan changes.
Assists in creating and distributing all benefits enrollment materials.
Responds to benefits inquiries on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquiries.
Processes and administers disability paperwork: medical, personal, disability and FMLA.
Effectively interprets FMLA and ADA implications as they relate to leaves of absences/disabilities.
Assists with the open enrollment process.
Administers the tuition reimbursement program.
Provides necessary reports for allocation/billing charges.

Required
Knowledge of employee benefits and applicable laws.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Works independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects.
Ability to prioritize tasks and following through to completion of all inquiries in a timely manner.
Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field and a minimum of 5 years' experience is required.
