Responsibilities

Resolving variance/denials using critical thinking, analytical skills, and appropriate decision making to resolve accounts

Applying pertinent Marshfield Clinic Health System policies, protocols, and processes in problem solving

Responding to unique cases in which clear policy and procedures are not always established

Maintaining a thorough knowledge of carrier policies, direct contracts, subscriber benefits, non-covered services, coding, diagnosis issues, and accounts receivable

Ensuring a high degree of professionalism and accuracy regarding written and verbal communication between internal and external customers

Required

Two years’ experience in a medical business office, healthcare, pharmaceutical setting, or comparable experience.

For positions hired within the dental centers, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire.
