Responsibilities
Working up cases from pre-litigation to post-trial motions.
Communicating regularly with clients and obtaining their documents.
Court filings, document management and review, propounding and responding to discovery, noticing depositions, and similar tasks.
Assisting in management of deadlines.
Management of electronic information, document management, and document review including bates-stamping, scanning, coding, and searching in complex litigation.
Assisting attorneys in developing case facts and strategies.
Creation of privilege logs.
Preparing trial exhibits.
Assisting at hearings and trials.

Required
7+ years of paralegal experience in complex litigation.
Candidates must possess a paralegal certificate or meet the Bus. & Prof. Code 6450 requirements.
Proven ability to prepare cases for trial, assist throughout trial, and manage cases from pre-litigation to post-trial motions.
Experience with E-Discovery processes.
Ability to draft client and opposing counsel correspondence, pleadings, and legal documents under attorney.
Proficiency in Adobe, Excel, Microsoft Office.
Familiarity with E-Discovery and law programs such as Sharefile, PACER, CaseAnywhere, Lexis, Smart Advocate, Everlaw, FileVine, OneLegal.
A successful candidate will be detail oriented and organized, be a team player, be reliable, and capable of multitasking and managing several time-critical projects under tight deadlines.
This position requires excellent written and oral communication skills.
