Responsibilities
Responsible for managing the end-to-end testing of dark fiber delivery projects and the acceptance recommendation of purchased vendor network.
Experience in optical fiber analysis test equipment (OTDR and CD/PMD testing, laser source/power meter (insertion loss) testing.
Experience in OTDR, how to read it inside and out.
Understand and fully interpret Chromatic Dispersion and Polarization Mode Dispersion data.

EXFO Fast Reporter Software
Fully identify ISP and OSP fiber issues and provide resolution advice.
Understanding of various fiber types and their inherent characteristics.
Splicing techniques and inherent characteristics.
Understanding and has high working knowledge of EXFO Toolbox used in the analysis of fibre test data or similar software applications.
