Responsibilities
Building a deep technical understanding of the services and translate that into effective marketing messaging and materials
Partnering closely with and influencing engineering to adopt a customer obsessed mindset and keep a pulse on evolving audience and market trends
Identifying strategic gaps and opportunities and crafting strategic analyses to drive the business with a demonstrated ability to use data to build and present business cases to marketing, sales and engineering stakeholders
Driving awareness by creating marketing assets like demo videos, blogs, emails, content, webinars, and more.
Using data such as marketing telemetry, customer research, market and compete analysis to influence your go-to-market plans
Supporting the business planning team on business modeling, pricing, packaging, and licensing initiatives
Collaborating with the Go-To-Market team to drive sales enablement, partner readiness and scale marketing initiatives for our services

Required
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in Product Marketing with a focus on commercial software
OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in Product Marketing with a focus on commercial software
OR equivalent experience.
4+ years experience partnering closely with product teams on product strategy, narrative creation, and launches
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in Product Marketing with a focus on commercial software
OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in Product Marketing with a focus on commercial software
OR equivalent experience.
Experience in Cybersecurity and an understanding of the security audience
Thrive in a fast-paced, often ambiguous environment

Ability to translate technical concepts into a compelling story for customers that clearly articulates Microsoft’s strategy, benefits and differentiation

Ability to deliver world class marketing content, including value proposition, evidence, blogs, whitepapers & presentations for identified scenarios, products/features and segments/audiences
Ability to develop working relationships with customers, senior executives, engineering teams, and other product and marketing groups.
