Responsibilities

Daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual downloads and reconciliation (to QuickBooks online) with cloud-based Toast Digital POS and restaurant management Suite

Pay bills and make sure that they are assigned to appropriate restaurant.

Work with outsourced payroll/ HR provider to make sure that information is available to them in a timely manner then download each payroll cycle into QuickBooks Online ensuring appropriate payroll is posted to each restaurant.

Provide financial information to and work with owners to make financial decisions (budget to actual, performance by restaurant for bonus calculations, identifying potential waste or fraud)

Liaison with outside CPA on accounting and tax compliance and provide information for tax planning and compliance as well as insurance brokers, suppliers and bankers.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or management, or equivalent of 5 to 10 years of related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Five years of hands-on accounting experience of increasing complexity.

Experienced QuickBooks online and Excel user a must.
