Responsibilities
Build a scalable, tailored B2B product marketing framework that addresses the distinct needs of independent practices and multi-location hospital groups.
Create clear and compelling positioning and messaging that reflects Roo’s unique role in veterinary innovation.
Equip account management and customer teams with tools, strategies, and training that help them foster meaningful partnerships and achieve measurable results.
Proactively identify areas of opportunity and prioritize efforts that deliver the most value to Roo’s customers and internal teams.
Conduct customer research to understand the unique operational dynamics of independent practices and hospital groups, tailoring insights to refine marketing strategies.
Prioritize competing needs across customer segments to ensure resources are focused on the highest-impact initiatives.
Actively monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities to differentiate Roo in the veterinary space.
Develop and own go-to-market (GTM) strategies for hospital-focused products and initiatives, collaborating across product, growth, and account management teams.
Ensure proactive planning and seamless execution of GTM plans, including messaging, training, and measurable outcomes.
Partner with account managers to design resources, playbooks, and content that address the specific challenges and opportunities faced by hospitals.
Lead proactive training sessions to help teams communicate Roo’s value in ways that resonate with independent practices and hospital executives alike.
Establish clear metrics for evaluating product marketing campaigns, using insights to refine and optimize strategies over time.
Regularly report on campaign performance and share actionable insights with cross-functional teams.
Act as the advocate for veterinary hospitals within Roo, ensuring their needs are surfaced in product development and marketing strategies.
Identify operational inefficiencies and lead process improvements to help Roo scale effectively.

Required
5-7 years of B2B marketing experience, ideally within marketplaces, healthcare, or veterinary industries.
Experience working with diverse organizational scales, from small businesses to multi-location groups.
Ability to assess competing priorities and focus efforts on high-impact opportunities.
Demonstrated ability to take initiative, anticipate challenges, and act independently to drive results.
Proven success in creating impactful sales enablement tools and resources for both relationship-driven account management and transactional sales.
Skilled in using data to inform decisions, measure performance, and identify growth opportunities.
Exceptional ability to craft clear, compelling messaging that resonates with a variety of audiences, from hospital managers to practice owners.
History of effectively influencing and collaborating across teams to align on shared goals.
Comfortable navigating the challenges of a fast-evolving organization and scaling marketing efforts for future growth.
