Responsibilities

Solution Design: Collaborate with federal client stakeholders to understand their business and technical requirements and design Azure-based solutions that align with their strategic goals.

Architecture Planning: Develop architecture blueprints and roadmaps that guide the implementation of Azure solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness.

Cloud Migration: Lead and support the migration of on-premises systems and applications to Azure cloud environments.

Security and Compliance: Implement best practices for security, compliance, and data protection in Azure-based solutions, ensuring alignment with federal regulations and standards.

Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring that architecture decisions are followed through implementation.

Cost Optimization: Work to optimize Azure costs by assessing usage, recommending cost-saving strategies, and monitoring resource consumption.

Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of architectural designs, configurations, and recommendations.

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience as an Azure Solution Architect or similar role, with a track record of successful Azure implementations.

Expertise in designing and implementing Azure-based solutions, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure SQL Database, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Functions, and other Azure services.

Strong knowledge of cloud security and compliance best practices, including experience with Azure security tools.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.

Ability to navigate complex government environments and adhere to federal regulations and standards.
