Responsibilities
Maintain in-depth knowledge of K-12 structured literacy methodologies and current best practices.
Proactively reach out to schools, district offices, service centers, and attend conferences and exhibits within your assigned territory.
Craft and present engaging, tailored sales pitches about our intervention products to curriculum coordinators, administrators, teachers, review committees, school board members, and other stakeholders.
Ensure all necessary sales and marketing materials, including sample kits, support materials, and catalogs, are organized and transported for presentations and meetings.
Act swiftly on sales leads from all sources, including self-generated prospects, while maintaining detailed records of sales activities and an up-to-date schedule.
Compose clear, professional correspondence with leads and clients, handle catalog or sample requests promptly, and prepare accurate price quotes.
Arrange and manage all travel logistics to meet the demands of your sales territory effectively.
Develop and adapt territory plan that leads to increased engagement with key decision makers.
Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to document client interactions, maintain an accurate pipeline, and analyze sales opportunities effectively.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in business, education, or a related field is required.
One of the following work experiences is required, but experience in both is desired: K-12 Sales: Proven track record of sales success over 2+ years in a sales development role, demonstrating strong foundational skills and growth potential. Expertise with supplemental curriculum and ELA solutions a plus.
and/or K-12 Teaching/Administration: Demonstrating strong foundational skills and growth potential needed to successfully transition to a sales development role. Experience implementing intervention and ELA programming a plus.
Enjoy using analytical and organizational skills to solve problems proactively.
Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal.
Be an independent thinker while functioning as part of a collaborative sales team.
Must have the ability to speak and present effectively.
Travel Requirements: 10%+ as required for in-person sales opportunities, trade shows, and national sales meetings.
