Responsibilities
Identify, initiate, and monitor Child Support modification reviews for incarcerated or justice-involved parents.
Utilize case management systems and Microsoft tools to record and track incarcerated or justice-involved parent's demographic and case information, incarceration history, and program progress.
Provide intensive case management and/or direct services for justice-involved parents who have been recently released to remove barriers and make the journey from incarceration back into the communities a smoother process.
Collaborate with Tennessee Department of Corrections (TDOC), local jails, and child support offices in support of incarcerated parents who are scheduled for release. Meet with parents inside TDOC facilities to answer general or case-specific child support questions and provide information regarding services available upon release.
Present program information in TDOC hosted classes and attend resource fairs hosted by TDOC and other partners to provide program and contact information.
Attend meetings, seminars, and statewide outreach events to exchange ideas, share best practices, and discover ways to raise our level of services to justice-involved parents. Build and maintain partnerships with community stakeholders to identify available resources and services.
Act as a liaison between justice-involved parents and local Child Support field offices and internal and external partners. Assist child support offices with service of processes, hearings, and various child support matters.

Required
Bachelor's degree and experience equivalent to three years of full-time professional experience in social services, human services, corrections, re-entry, or child support case management.
Qualifying full-time professional experience in a related field as listed above may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
Graduate course work in social services, psychology, sociology, criminology, human services, criminal justice, public administration; and/or business may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis to a maximum of two years.
Complete a criminal history disclosure form in a manner approved by the appointing authority.
Agree to release all records involving their criminal history to the appointing authority.
Supply a fingerprint sample prescribed by the TBI based criminal history records clerk.
Possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
