Responsibilities
Manage and maintain insurance accounts receivable for the organization
Review and analyze insurance claims to ensure accuracy and completeness
Follow up on unpaid claims and denials to ensure timely and accurate payment
Work with insurance companies to resolve claim issues and discrepancies
Communicate with patients regarding their insurance coverage and billing inquiries
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all insurance billing and collections activities

Required
High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare billing and collections, with a focus on insurance accounts receivable
Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT and ICD-10 coding, and insurance billing procedures
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and healthcare billing software
Preferred
associate's or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field
