Responsibilities
Responsible for an effective and efficiently running Accounts Payable department.
Ensure vendors are paid within payment terms
Design an organized end to end AP process.
Ensure accurate AP GL coding
Manage AP team members
Ensure an end to end procurement process is followed by the business
Negotiate with vendors on an as needed basis
Responsible for monthly billing of our customers out of NetSuite.
Manage AR reporting – AR aging, etc.
Manage AR and collections team members
Manage collection process and ensure proper management of needed actions (legal, service restrictions, communications, etc.)
Manage customer communication on billing related issues. Ensure a high level of customer service is provided during billing inquiries and disputes.
Manage banking relationships
Performing day-to-day cash management functions including calculating the daily cash position for multiple accounts and entities
Monitors the maintenance of debt and manages debt compliance according to debt guidelines
Responsible for derivatives and related accounting practices
Cash forecasting support

Required
Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
5-7+ years of experience in bookkeeping, AP, AR, treasury and/or collections.
3+ years of management experience
Strong attention to detail – ensuring a strong understanding of current open AR, AP and cash status.
Strong communication skills across all stakeholders.
Attention to detail in terms of ensuring accurate GL coding of all transactions
Proven experience building strong high trust relationships across team members, senior leadership, customers and vendors.
Experience negotiating terms with prospective vendors from a procurement perspective
Proven experience managing financial operations: AP, AR, Treasury/Banking, Collections.
Highly proficient in the use of the Microsoft Excel and solid proficiency in the other Microsoft Office suite.
High level of attention to detail and ability to work independently
Strong influencing, communication (written and verbal) and financial analysis skills
Excellent organizational skills and ability to effectively manage priorities and projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Preferred
Prior experience with NetSuite is preferred
