Responsibilities
Under general direction, performs major daily and project/program based administrative duties.
Recommends and administers divisional/departmental policies and procedures.
Prepares regular and special reports related to divisional/departmental operations.
Performs other job-related duties as required.
The candidate(s) selected for this position will be required to effectively and accurately perform various fiscal and administrative responsibilities including but not limited to human resources, all payroll process, accounts receivable, accounts payable functions, annual county certification process, financial analysis, reconciliation, payment application process for large volumes of account transactions, preparing financial and non-financial reports, and create and maintain accurate records.
Assist and perform the required processes for the creation, implementation, and management of special improvement districts and special energy improvement projects.
Perform the required processes related to street vacations.
Assist with preparing and implementing standard operating procedures.
Perform other job-related duties as required.

Required
A High School Diploma or GED is required.
A Bachelor's Degree in Business/Public Relations or closely related field from a four-year accredited college or university is required.
Two years of full time paid experience in government or private industry office administration is required.
Must be able to operate a personal computer with Microsoft Office Suites.
Preferred
Proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite including Excel formulas, functions and databases.
Must be a self-starter, possess excellent customer service, and interpersonal skills, able to multitask efficiently, and prioritize work.
Knowledge and understanding of governmental accounting principles and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GMP).
Strong analytical, mathematical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.
Familiarity and proficiency with Advantage/CG! Financial System and Accela software preferred.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
