Responsibilities
Required technical proficiencies/knowledge - Familiar with using QA tools, writing test plans, test cases, and test scripts, a good understanding of QA methodologies.
Familiar with web testing technologies, PC hardware platforms, and MS Operating Systems.
Related experience with client/server databases and reporting tools.
Enhanced knowledge of SQL, database structure, and database design; experience with REST API testing; thorough understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and change management; expert with all aspects of Microsoft Office and other Microsoft products.
Working knowledge of various EDI formats including X12 formats (837, 999, 277); ability to understand and assist with the conversion of business requirements into technical specifications and cross-reference them to test scenarios and test cases; enhanced knowledge of software quality assurance methodology and practice.A good understanding of systems and applications with the ability and desire to learn.
Deep practical experience with cutting edge tools for Web, Mobile, Desktop, DB and Web-service testing (such as Selenium, Jenkins, and Zap Roxy)
Working knowledge of SQL to validate test cases within a SQL database Experience with testing REST APIs with tools such as Postman Understanding of and experience with EDI formats such as X12 (837, 999, 277), flat files, delimited files, XML, and JSON Understands business requirements from documentation, business meetings, emails, and other sources.
