Responsibilities
Establishes and implements strategic plan direction for the customer team.
Develops and execute Op plan volume, revenue, and profitability
Champions procedures to continuously improve the accuracy of the Demand Plan forecast.
Manages and upgrades the mix and price for which products are sold.
Works cross-functionally with Sales Planning, RGM, Marketing, Operations, QA, Supply Chain & Executive Management to ensure effective communication and problem solving; must work in coordination with all stakeholders for optimal outcomes for the Company and the customers.
Utilizes the principles of the QIP, team management and Supply Chain initiatives to guide the region.
Manages staff including recruitment, development and evaluation of associates.
Participates in a leadership position on special projects and cross-functional teams.

Required
Bachelors degree or related experience in Sales, Marketing or Business Administration plus 10+ years related work experience.
Requires strong reading, writing, communication and analytical skills.
Must have a prior supervisory/management experience including managing, recruiting and evaluating sales associates.
Must be able to communicate effectively with customers, suppliers and team members.
Must be able to travel to plant facilities, innovation center and market areas to include overnight travel. Should anticipate spending 20% of their time in travel.
Preferred
Management experience required preferable in the food or food sales areas.
Kroger customer experience a plus.
