Responsibilities
Define and implement strategic objectives to drive business outcomes for clients.
Provide thought leadership in collaboration with data & technology, media activation, and client services teams.
Lead planners to achieve optimal performance.
Balance leadership and operations, manage and mentor resources, author and review client deliverables, and drive agency growth.
Manage and mentor a team of media planners, developing their skills and ensuring efficient and high-quality project execution.
Oversee staffing and business planning.
Oversee the development and execution of comprehensive media strategies, including integrated media channel planning.
Evaluate media vehicles to determine the most effective ways to reach target audiences.
Be a resident expert in targeting advancements and opportunities.
Adopt accountability for the team’s deliverable quality.
Manage staff of planners to the highest quality, providing deep mentoring and skill-building to build a gold standard capability.
Design and implement strategies to analyze and optimize customer interactions across multiple channels, ensuring a seamless and effective customer experience while leveraging data insights to drive business decisions.
Stay ahead of industry trends, pioneer new strategy and planning solutions, and ensure the agency remains competitive in the evolving digital landscape.
Collaborate cross-functionally to codify intellectual property (IP) for efficient and profitable strategic solutions.
Enhance strategic knowledge and capabilities to deliver measurable value.
Creating differentiating planning services with carefully defined workflows and cross-functional collaboration including client enrollment.
Foster positive relationships, actively listening to client needs, and identifying opportunities for strategic growth.
Ensure the quality of all client deliverables and serve as a trusted advisor.
Travel to clients as needed.
Participate on pitch teams and RFP responses and support VP, Client Success in new business discussions.
Provide thought leadership to the industry at relevant events.
Network and grow relationships.

Required
A BS/BA in business, with an MBA/MS/MA preferred.
12+ years of experience working within a media or creative agency or a marketing consultancy, specifically in the pharma or life sciences.
8-10+ years of experience delivering effective media and omnichannel programs that align with and accomplish client business goals.
Demonstrated success in establishing and maintaining strategic advisory relationships with clients.
8+ years in a management capacity leading a team that supports and achieves the organization’s vision, mission, values, and goals.
Proven ability to grow revenue through organic growth, retaining and upselling clients, and acquiring new business opportunities.
