Responsibilities
Foster a culture of innovation, engineering excellence, accountability and pride of ownership
Collaborate with engineering leadership, product management and business stakeholders to align on priorities
Contribute to technical design standards
Facilitate best practice agile ceremonies to ensure that adequate communication channels exist, product deliverables are well-defined, and teams are positioned for success
Influence and support teams to ensure production of secure/quality code and performant user experiences
Optimize engineering processes and set high standards for technical quality, driving velocity and scalability
Recruit, hire, and onboard skilled software engineers
Establish and manage individual and team performance goals and metrics

Required
B.S. in Computer Science or related discipline
6+ years of experience in software engineering
3+ years of management experience with a proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop engineers
Experience with Microsoft Azure, relational databases, and modern programming languages such as C# or Python
Solid understanding of CI/CD tooling and best practices
Preferred
Experience with machine learning, generative AI or Databricks is a plus
