Responsibilities
Responsible for the integration and maintenance of CRM technologies, such as Salesforce and Slate.
Combines the technical expertise of a developer with the administrative knowledge of a CRM administrator.
Plays a crucial role in seamlessly connecting the CRM platforms with various enterprise external systems, applications, and data sources.
Requires a strong understanding of integration architectures, APIs, data mapping, and middleware technologies.
Responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable integrations that enable efficient data exchange and business process automation.
Support the University Advancement team in integrating data sources, external systems and applications to Salesforce.

Required
Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
6 - 10 years of related experience.
Minimum of 3 years of experience integrating CRM systems with custom and vended solutions, data warehouses, and marketing automation tools.
Minimum of 3 years of experience using code management tools, such as Git, to manage code changes, collaborate with teams, and ensure code quality and reliability.
Advanced knowledge of systems integration deploying complex systems integration solutions.
Advanced skills associated with system integration design, modification, implementation and deployment in a complex environment.
Demonstrated ability to develop complex conversion and system implementation plans.
Demonstrated ability to understand functional needs of the campus/medical center and/or UC system and how systems can support those needs.
Demonstrated ability to interface with senior level technical and non-technical management on a regular basis.
Demonstrated ability to create software specifications.
Experience with identification and use of code libraries and open-source forums.
Experience with planning for deployment and creation of feedback mechanisms.
Experience developing and implementing complex project plans.
Experience researching and evaluating new technology and solutions for complex environments.
Ability to impart knowledge to senior level technical and non-technical audiences and to influence outcomes to meet objectives.
Demonstrated ability to identify software and hardware interdependences in a complex multi-platform environment.
Demonstrated ability to develop solutions for complex business and systems/custom/ad-hoc solutions.
Advanced knowledge and experience with monitoring tools, performance, and systems optimization, including intermediate knowledge of security for data, data transfers and systems.
Experience with complex multi-platform troubleshooting in a multi-platform environment.
Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data models, security mechanisms, and governor limits.
Knowledge of Salesforce APIs and familiarity with Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL) and Salesforce Object Search Language (SOSL).
Preferred
Working knowledge of managing and deploying services to cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Experience working in an Agile development environment.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline management using a DevOps platform such as GitLab or GitHub Actions.
Demonstrated ability designing and developing back-end services such as APIs, message-driven services, and cron-based CLI applications using a modern JVM-based framework such as Micronaut or Quarkus.
Demonstrated ability developing front-end applications using the Angular front-end SPA framework.
Working knowledge of both relational and document-based databases such as Oracle, Sql Server, Postgres, and MongoDB.
