Responsibilities

Work directly with our primary i18n PE contact for ArcGIS Pro to advocate and implement internationalization and localization best practices throughout product design, development, and QA processes

Understand the product new features requirements, and assist in developing test strategies, test cases, execute the test plan, and report results in a timely manner.

As needed, coordinate and follow up with our 3rd party QA vendor and their test projects

Help with triaging and prioritization of bugs; follow through with the i18n PE and development teams, making sure critical bugs are addressed in a timely manner

Learn from our product development processes’ shortcomings, recommend, and follow up with process and tools improvement.

Required

2+ years of testing experience

Ability to set priorities and manage tasks as needed in a fast-paced highly collaborative work environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Knowledge of software development processes and agile methodologies

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or Geographical information.

Preferred

Experience with ArcGIS

GIS certificate is a plus

Experience or knowledge of software internationalization and localization testing

Experience with Rational databases
