Responsibilities

Design and build sophisticated data pipelines and ETL processes using distributed computing frameworks.
Develop and maintain a data lakehouse utilizing modern technologies.
Optimize data ingestion, transformation, and storage strategies across multiple cloud platforms.
Establish data engineering best practices, including governance, performance optimization, and data quality standards.
Collaborate with data science and analytics teams to enable advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives.
Create and implement data modeling techniques for large-scale datasets.
Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and performance of data infrastructure.
Conduct code reviews and mentor junior data engineers.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex data pipeline and infrastructure issues.

Required

Proficiency with big data technologies such as Spark, Kafka, and distributed computing frameworks.
Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS EMR, Glue, Databricks, and Lakehouse solutions).
Advanced knowledge of Python, SQL, and modern frameworks (e.g., debt, Airflow).
Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
Proven ability to design scalable, resilient data pipelines and architect end-to-end solutions.
Experience with advanced analytics workflows, including supporting machine learning models.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and data governance best practices.
Authorization to work in the United States and availability during U.S. working hours.
