Responsibilities

Assist in maintaining the internal technology infrastructure of a leading company, contributing to projects that enhance IT operations and improve efficiency.

Work directly with analysts and engineers to monitor, detect, and respond to cyber security incidents, implement state-of-the-art security tools and processes, and assist in documenting our multi-cloud computing environment.

Gain hands-on experience in researching and writing about cutting-edge technologies like AI. You'll monitor news sources and scientific journals to identify relevant emerging technologies and collaborate with the Emerging Tech Team to create informative write-ups for Vertex staff and leadership.

Required

Current students pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.

Strong interest in cybersecurity, corporate IT, data analytics, or emerging tech research and writing.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively during core business hours on the East Coast (HQ - King of Prussia, PA).

Communicate with Clarity - Be clear, concise and actionable. Be relentlessly constructive. Seek and provide meaningful feedback.
