Manager of Capabilities Portfolio Marketing

Responsibilities
Define / refine portfolio services taxonomy, including macro-service families, service offerings, and capabilities
Develop strategic archetypes categorizing portfolio elements by market priority and strategic importance
Create standardized bill of materials (BoM) for each archetype to guide marketing and sales enablement efforts
Continuously map and analyze the evolving technology services landscape
Establish robust frameworks and templates for capability and service messaging
Facilitate cross-functional messaging workshops with capability, service, and sales teams
Conduct comprehensive market research, including:
Target buyer personas and buyer groups (users, influencers, decision makers)
In-depth buyer needs analysis
Competitive landscape assessment
Emerging technology trend evaluation
Draft messaging and positioning
Test with industry analysts select customers
Produce comprehensive, nuanced capability and service messaging documents that resonate with target markets
Develop detailed content briefs for marketing operations team
Implement and oversee content cataloging and distribution processes
Rigorously evaluate content scope, timing, and quality
Ensure consistent brand voice and strategic alignment across all marketing materials
Provide comprehensive briefs to campaigns team, detailing:
Capability and service portfolio pipeline
Refined messaging strategies
Campaign scope and objectives
Leverage marketing operations dashboards to monitor message and campaign performance
Generate actionable performance insights for service and marketing leadership
Proactively identify and recommend strategic improvements in service portfolio management

Required
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Technology Management, or related field
Minimum 7-10 years of progressive marketing experience, with 3-5 years specifically in technology services portfolio marketing
Proven track record of developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies in technology services
Demonstrable experience in bridging understanding of technology capabilities, market dynamics, customer needs and partner integration to create messaging and content that sells
Exceptional leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills
Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
Adaptable and resilient in a rapidly evolving technology landscape
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling market narratives
Strategic mindset with keen attention to detail
Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills
