Responsibilities
Provide expert support to customers via phone, email, and live chat, answering questions related to benefits plans, policies, and general inquiries
Assist customers in understanding and selecting benefit plans that best meet their needs. Provide clear explanations of plan options, eligibility, and coverage details
Guide customers through the claims process, ensuring they understand how to submit claims, track progress, and resolve any issues that arise
Help customers with account-related issues, including enrollment, plan changes, and benefit updates
Accurately record customer interactions, document inquiries, and maintain detailed records of benefits requests and resolutions
Identify and troubleshoot issues related to benefits, escalating complex problems to senior team members or management when necessary
Stay current with company benefits offerings, policies, and industry best practices to provide up-to-date information to customers
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and operations, to ensure smooth delivery of services and customer satisfaction
Build positive relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction with products and services, and contributing to long-term customer loyalty

Required
High School Diploma or equivalent required
1-3 years of customer service experience, preferably in a benefits administration or insurance-related field
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field preferred
