Responsibilities
Lead and manage quality procedures and deviation management systems, ensuring consistency and excellence across the enterprise.
Design, maintain, and enhance quality systems, automated tools, and internal risk assessment programs.
Analyze compliance risks through internal assessments and external inspection findings, driving improvements.
Develop and deliver impactful training programs on quality and regulatory compliance for field and operational staff.
Oversee cross-functional projects, managing planning, team coordination, and resource allocation.
Stay ahead of regulatory changes, assessing their impact on quality processes and ensuring compliance.
Play a key role in annual budget planning and resource allocation.

Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Knowledge of local, state, national, and international regulations as they relate to the blood industry, quality, and manufacturing activities required.
Six years of related experience in a regulated industry required. To include: Three years of supervisory experience or equivalent (e.g., project lead). Four years of experience in quality, regulatory, and/or auditing.
Previous experience leading and/or supporting multi-disciplinary teams and projects required.
Must possess the skills and abilities to successfully perform all assigned duties and responsibilities.
Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
Able to organize, prioritize, and execute a variable workload and multiple priorities and projects.
Ability to work in a team environment and participate as an active member of management.
Must have analytical, statistical, personal organization, and problem-solving skills.
Must have a participative management style, strong team development, coaching skills, and the ability to lead and motivate staff.
Effective oral and written business communication skills.
Must have proficient computer skills.
Preferred
Knowledge of computer environments, standard development, and system life cycle methodology preferred.
CMQ/OE, CQA, RA, PM and/or Six Sigma certification preferred.
Certification as a Medical Technologist or Specialist in Blood Banking (SBB) by a recognized certifying agency or RN licensure preferred.
