Responsibilities

Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision.

Assists in the preparation of sales forecasts, quotes and negotiations and is familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.

Visits customers on site to review quality and functionality of products.

Identifies and assists customers and team members in troubleshooting any equipment or material problems and following all issues to resolution.

Maintains and grows existing accounts by supplying technical support and services.

Researches and presents reports showing potential customers the cost benefit of purchasing company products or services.

Uses technical knowledge of product offerings and customer processes to support and build regional sales.

Required

Requires proficiency in the role-specific skills and abilities.

Must demonstrate a thorough understanding in the area of specialization and responsibility, typically obtained through a bachelor's degree and 2-5 years of experience in industrial sales or the wood adhesives industry.

Experience in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

Must have a background in the Oriented Strand or Particle Board/MDF Industry and located or willing to relocate to the East Texas/Louisiana.

Good interpersonal communication.

Adhere to company safety policies and work requirements.
