Responsibilities
Become acclimated to the consulting engineering workplace, legal codes, design concepts, and improve skills in the daily utilization of AutoCAD and Revit.
Assigned a mentor to work with learning through observation, instruction, and experience.
Discuss skills and goals with their mentor to maximize their experience with Jordan & Skala.
Participate in site visits or client meetings throughout rotations.
Continue to become familiar with codes and calculations, work more independently on projects in AutoCAD and Revit, and accompany an engineer to project site visit.
Implement knowledge from previous semesters to review shop drawing submittals, design layouts, and complete calculations.

Required
Electrical Engineering student
Passion for building design
Enrollment in a Cooperative Education Program
Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit
Ability to work alongside professionals in their degree fields
Willingness to learn from mentors and ask questions
Ability to work independently on projects
Preferred
Attendance at one of the current Cooperative Program Partner schools
Interest in working in Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, or Charlotte
