Responsibilities
Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages a mission-driven mindset, accountability, and high performance among all employees
Lead talent acquisition efforts to attract, hire, and onboard top talent, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience
Build on-boarding resources and training tools to get new hires acquainted with the company and ready to work quickly
Provide support to employees on HR-related matters, including conflict resolution, recordkeeping, leave request management and performance improvement
Design and implement HR policies, procedures, and systems that support the company’s growth and operational efficiency, particularly focused on policy requirements for government contracting
Leverage HR technology and tools to streamline HR processes, enhance data management, and improve employee experience, including recordkeeping, leave tracking and primary point of contact for FAQs
Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices and industry trends
Identify training needs that enhance employee skills and capabilities, particularly leveraging generative AI on our client's platform as a primary resource for increasing performance velocity
Create a culture of continuous learning and development, encouraging employees to pursue professional growth opportunities
Utilize HR metrics and analytics to inform decision-making and drive improvements in HR processes and employee engagement
Monitor and report on key HR metrics

Required
5+ years of Human Resources experience, with 2+ years in a leadership role
Familiarity and experience with anti-corruption and bribery training
Proven track record of building and nurturing organizational culture in a remote work environment
Strong understanding of talent acquisition, performance management, and employee training best practices
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
Experience in designing and implementing HR systems and processes as foundational assets for long-term organizational growth
Proficiency in HR technology and data analytics, with a strong understanding of growth and management for scale
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and best practices
Preferred
Local to Washington D.C. is preferred
Experience working within a start-up environment is highly preferred
