Responsibilities

Lead rapid-response communications for crisis & issues management on social media.

Develop and execute social & new media strategies for Coinbase spokespeople, both proactive and reactive.

Craft compelling, concise, and clear messages that resonate and amplify our executives’ voices.

Create engaging content that cuts through FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, Doubt) and communicates directly with the audience.

Work cross-functionally with other execs and teams on high-priority issues in crypto and for Coinbase.

Be flexible with working hours as crypto never sleeps and sometimes neither do we.

Required

Deep understanding of social and new media landscapes.

Born & raised in the Twitter/X trenches.

Preferred

Experience in public relations.

Understanding of the regulatory, security, political, and technical landscapes influencing cryptocurrency.
