As an Ally Team Navigator, you will guide patients and their families through the clinical trial process, ensuring they receive the support and information needed to participate in therapeutic trials.

Responsibilities

Liaison between health systems, community providers, and patients
Navigate patients through the clinical trial screening and enrollment process
Provide individualized counseling on social determinants of health and assist patients with applying for and utilizing resources to overcome barriers to accessing care
Facilitate seamless hand off to clinical research sites and ensure relevant patient medical records are transferred
Maintain short-term and long-term follow up with patients as needed
Practice cultural humility when engaging with patients and families
Respond quickly to inbound inquiries from Trial Library users, including but not limited to patients, clinicians, researchers
Document and follow up to resolve any issues that may arise throughout the patient experience
Contribute to and refine internal SOPs for Ally Navigation Services workflows
Prepare and maintain weekly status reports of patient tracking, provider outreach, and other Ally Navigator activities to help drive business decisions
Work with Product, Engineering, and Operations team to improve patient experience and drive product adoption of Trial Library through development of new features, design, internal and external workflows, and service lines
Generate external-facing content for clinical trial education and clinical trial resources
Support a diverse, inclusive, equitable, and performance-oriented culture, ensuring that team members thrive and organizational outcomes are met

Required

Experience in clinical research, patient navigation, social work, or patient advocacy
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Empathetic attitude with an ability to offer emotional support
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and understand how to prioritize tasks based on importance vs. immediacy
Ability to collect and analyze data from multiple points both from inside and outside the organization
Ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders across various functional disciplines to understand their respective challenges and motivations
Flexibility and adaptability in response to changing patient or clinician needs
